October Members Meeting

Our October member meeting featured an inspiring presentation from our member organization in Lebanon, SAID NGO. Hana Nimer, Founder and President, shared their ongoing journey to improve access to colorectal cancer (CRC) screening.
They reflected on the significant challenges faced in making screening available to patients and the progress achieved as they celebrate 10 years of making a difference against all odds. Their efforts include covering screening costs for some patients who are in need. Their determination is a testament to what can be achieved through collaboration, commitment, and advocacy.
As we look ahead to our upcoming 2025 Congress, our attention turns to an equally important theme: The role of data in advancing CRC control.
Reliable data helps us understand the true scope of CRC in our regions, identify gaps in care, and advocate for patient dignity and better policies and resources.
Being counted matters because every data point represents a life, a family, and a community affected by colorectal cancer.
Together, we continue to learn from one another, amplify each other’s efforts, and strengthen our global movement.
Our next meeting is on November 19th at 3 PM UTC. We hope you’ll join us!
