Welcoming GCCA's New Program Director

Jennifer Groverman is GCCA's New Program Director

The Global Colon Cancer Association (GCCA) is pleased to welcome Jennifer Groverman as our new Program Director.

Jennifer joins GCCA with extensive experience leading international health programs and building strategic partnerships that improve access to care around the world. In her new role, she will oversee the development and implementation of GCCA's global programs, working closely with our members, partners, and patient advocates to advance education, strengthen advocacy, and expand equitable access to colorectal cancer care.

Prior to joining GCCA, Jennifer spent more than eight years with The Transplantation Society, where she managed international programs and strategic initiatives focused on organ donation and transplantation. Jennifer holds a master’s degree in international development, and her career has been driven by a commitment to advancing health equity through collaboration, innovation, and sustainable solutions. She brings expertise in program development, stakeholder engagement, strategic partnerships, and international collaboration, along with a deep passion for bringing people together to address complex global health challenges.

"Jennifer's experience leading international programs and building collaborative partnerships makes her an outstanding addition to our team," said Nicole Sheahan, President of the Global Colon Cancer Association. "As GCCA continues to grow our global network and expand programs that support patients and advocates, Jennifer's leadership will help us strengthen our impact and better serve communities around the world."

Jennifer is excited to work alongside GCCA's member organizations and partners to further the organization's mission of reducing the global burden of colorectal cancer through advocacy, education, awareness, and collaboration. She shared, "I'm honored to join the Global Colon Cancer Association at such an exciting time in its growth. I look forward to joining the team, working alongside our members, partners, and patient advocates around the world. Together, we have a unique opportunity to make a lasting global impact."

Please join us in welcoming Jennifer to the GCCA team. We look forward to the expertise, energy, and vision she brings as we continue working together toward a future where everyone affected by colorectal cancer has access to the information, care, and support they need.
