GCCA CEO Recognized by OncoDaily

GCCA Celebrates Andrew Spiegel's Recognition Among The 100 Most Influential CEOs in Oncology in 2025

The Global Colon CancerAssociation (GCCA) is proud to announce that our co-founder and CEO, Andrew Spiegel, has been recognized among the 100 Most Influential CEOs in Oncology in 2025 by OncoDaily. This distinguished honor reflects not only Andy's extraordinary leadership but also the collective impact of our global community in transforming colorectal cancer care worldwide.

Since co-founding GCCA in 2011, Andy has built an international coalition that transcends borders, bringing together colorectal cancer patient advocacy organizations, healthcare institutions, and stakeholders from dozens of countries.

His vision was clear from the beginning: to create a global community where patient voices are amplified, where disparities in screening, diagnosis, treatment, and care are addressed head-on, and where collaborative advocacy becomes the driving force against the third leading cause of cancer deaths globally.

Beyond GCCA, Andy co-founded the Colorectal Cancer Alliance in the United States and has served on the boards of the International Alliance of Patient Organizations and the Digestive Disease National Coalition, as well as co-founded the Alliance for Safe BiologicMedicines. His contributions have been recognized with awards including the David Jagelman Award for Patient Advocacy and the C-Change Together Hidden Hero Award.

Congratulations, Andy, on this well-deserved honor.
